Awards: 1st prize “The best project of wooden house” 2nd international Award 2005, St. Petersburg, Russia.
The ambition for House Linnea was to design more than just a house. A series of indoor and outdoor spaces was created.
The tower shape of the outdoor kitchen shelters the courtyard from winds. The balcony and glass roof structures along with the elm leaves create
shadowplays on the terrace.

An inspiration for the design were the aesthetics of an artisan crafted musical instrument that arise from the suitable application of material,
appropriateness and functionality.

The large insulated glazing elements are hung without any framing. The flooring is heat treated oiled birch.
The outside of the spiral staircase is of lacquered steel and the inside is finished with heat treated brich.
The protruding windows of the childrens' rooms and the bathroom have an exceptionally deep bearing window frame.
